Vegra Alco-Damp BLUE 3838 Zi Fountain Solution for Offset Printers

Vegra Alco-Damp BLUE 3838 Zi Fountain Solution is certified by MPA and features a corrosion inhibitor for printing without alcohol or with reduced amount of alcohol in Sheet Fed and Continuous Stationary Printing. It is also suitable for CTP plates use.

This fount solution is compatible with all film dampening systems from print press made by KOEBAU, KBA-Planeta, Harris-Duotrol, Heidelberger Alcolor, and MAN Rolandmatic.

The product is sold in accordance with the quality specifications for: - Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG - MAN Roland Druckmaschinen AG - Koenig und Bauer-Albert AG with regard to observing the specific limiting values for corrosion on metallic materials.

Recommended Dosage: 4% - We recommend to reduce the alcohol content step-by-step.

Fount Solution Key Features

• Strong buffer - Keeps the pH value within the most favourable range for printing. 
• Plate Protection - Hydrophilic substances cover the plate and protect it reliably during machine stops. No gumming up is necessary and quick, clean start ups can be achieved even after longer stops
• Delivers constant ink-water balance - Surface active fount for optimising the ink-water balance. Tight water path, very good wetting of the printing plates, clean dampening rollers, low contamination of the fount circuit.
• In alcohol dampening systems the alcohol content can be reduced - In special cases, even alcohol free printing is possible. This additive guarantees a quick start-up - which means higher productivity and reduced misprints. - Systemic substances keep the circuit clean according to the directives of the printing press manufacturers. We recommend to wash the dampening system from time to time.
• No formaldehyde or formaldehyde substances - Prevents corrosion on plate, blanket and impression cylinders. Protects machine parts made of structural steel, case hardened steel (e.g. bearer rings) or stainless steel as well as nickel electroplated or oxide ceramic sprayed cylinder coatings from corrosion. With parts already affected by corrosion, a further abrasion is prevented.
